Community

Building Community is our Passion.

We at Nassau Financial believe in giving back to our local communities and abroad. Over the years, we have strived to lend a helping hand to those in need and build strong, lasting relationships with our members and the communities we serve.
We believe in supporting local business and reaching out to everyone in the community.
We strongly adhere to "People Helping People" and making a difference; giving back in many ways.
As we continue to be out and about in the community, we hope that you join and support us in all of our efforts.

Financial Literacy

Providing financial literacy educational information to the community is the cornerstone of the Credit Union philosophy of "People Helping People." This knowledge allows individuals to make informed and effective decisions about their finances today and throughout their lifetime.
Nassau Financial's Financial Literacy Programs include educational seminars and events for members of the community to learn such skills such as balancing a checkbook, establishing credit, and tips about first-time home buying. Long-term financial concepts will include saving for life-changing events and starting a business that will carry throughout a lifetime. Our financial literacy programs include in-person, on-site seminars and events as well as multi-channel communications through our newsletters, email, and website content.
Make sure to read Money Smart, our monthly newsletter, to stay informed about our Financial Literacy seminars, webinars, and more!
"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members."
- Coretta Scott King

People Helping People

The credit union industry philosophy of "people helping people" aligns with Nassau Financial's Service Mission which is: "Improving the financial well-being of each member and the communities we serve." We firmly believe that corporate volunteerism and philanthropy is not done simply to build the Nassau Financial brand, but to create positive ripples in the community helping people in need, raising awareness about specific challenges or issues, and making our neighborhoods better places.
We invite you to visit this page often to see how we are striving to make a difference in our communities:
