At Nassau Financial, the safety of our Team Members, Members and our Community is a primary concern for us. We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to how this is impacting our Community.
There are a number of measures we have been taking to ensure we manage to safely get through this situation while continuing to serve our Members effectively. Our Team Members are aware of the safety measures provided by the World Health Organization, and we are taking additional precautions to maintain a safe environment at all of our locations.
Because we are maintaining the NY State required maximum capacity of 50% or less, it is important to stagger appointments with our Representatives so that no more than 10 people are in the branch at a time, including our Team Members. Use this link to book a particular time and date at one of our locations from the comfort of your home instead of signing up and waiting at the branch. Available time slots will appear on the form so you will be able to choose the time that works best for you. Please keep in mind that appointments will run on time, and time slots will not be held if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, out of courtesy for other Members who are waiting to see our Representatives.
The work being done by our Team Members to service our Members during this pandemic is something we are truly proud of. We humbly ask for your patience as we navigate through the new challenges that arise as a result of the Coronavirus disease.

8/5/20: Garden City Branch Has Reopened
Good news—our Garden City Branch has reopened! We appreciate your patience and flexibility with using our other branches and our digital services while our branch was closed. Please note that appointments are now required to keep branch capacity within NY State Guidelines. Information about how to set an appointment is included in this email notice.
Following are our new hours at the Garden City Branch:
Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: Branch Lobby Closed. ITM transactions: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
6/26/20: Three Branch Lobbies Open on 6/29/20:
We are pleased to let you know that several of our branch lobbies are reopening this week. As Long Island embraces a phased re-opening, so is Nassau Financial! We appreciate your patience and flexibility with using our digital services while our branch lobbies were closed. Appointments are required to keep capacity within NY State guidelines.

What to expect when visiting our branches
Our commitment to our Members and Team Members is stronger than ever, so we are following governmental guidelines along with some of our own to keep everybody safe and socially distant while providing the best Member Service possible. This requires everyone’s participation and we ask you to do your part by:
- Wearing a mask at all times
- Reading our entry sign and attesting that you are not affected by or exposed to COVID-19 through family, friends, or traveling to a hot-spot within the past 14 days
- Setting an appointment either at the door or online, and providing your name, email address, and cell phone number
- Waiting outside or in your car until we call or text you to come inside for your appointment
- Keeping socially distant by staying 6-feet apart from others, using floor markers as your guide
- Use hand sanitizer before and after conducting transactions
Our Team Members are required to follow these guidelines when they are in the branch as well. We are serious about keeping everyone safe, so service may be denied until the requirements are followed.
Cleanliness Update
For your protection, we will continue regular deep cleanings to keep our locations as clean as possible. Areas that are high contact points, such as ITMs, doors, desks, and chairs will receive periodic sanitizing throughout the day. We certainly encourage you to use hand sanitizers before and after touching surfaces as well.

3/20/20: Governor Cuomo announces deferred mortgage payments- who is eligible?
The mortgage deferment announced by Governor Cuomo is specifically for those impacted by Covid-19, who are experiencing financial difficulties and can no longer make their monthly mortgage payments.
