Providing financial literacy educational information to the community is the cornerstone of the Credit Union philosophy of "People Helping People." This knowledge allows individuals to make informed and effective decisions about their finances today and throughout their lifetime.
Web-based and in-person seminars coming this spring!
Nassau Financial's Financial Literacy Programs include educational seminars and events for members of the community to learn such skills such as balancing a checkbook, establishing credit, and tips about first-time home buying. Long-term financial concepts will include saving for life-changing events and starting a business that will carry throughout a lifetime. Our financial literacy programs include in-person, on-site seminars and events as well as multi-channel communications through our newsletters, email, and website content. Here is what's coming up soon:
- January 9th: 10 Steps to Financial Success, 7 PM at the Oceanside Library
- February 1st: Raising Money Smart Kids, 1 PM at the East Meadow Branch
- February 6th: Raising Money Smart Kids, 7 PM at the Oceanside Library
- March 10th: Are you Financially Healthy? 7 PM at the Oceanside Library
