A key component of this service is to identify the financial needs of the member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution.

 

Marketing Specialist

This role is responsible in assisting  Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union to deliver its Service Mission, “Improving the financial well-being of each member and the communities we serve,” by providing outstanding service to both external members and internal members.  In addition, manage ongoing marketing communications projects, from inception to completion, across multiple channels including print and digital newsletters, in-branch materials, messaging, website, digital channels, events, advertising, etc. Create concepts, write copy for and use desktop publishing software to design monthly and other proposed marketing communication pieces.  Assist in planning, preparing materials for, and attending Credit Union sponsored seminars, events, walks and fairs during traditional and non-traditional hours. Help maintain the MCIF database system including list creation and updates. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and accurately and apply brand standards across all marketing channels. Provide project development support to the Marketing Director. Provide light administrative support as needed to the Marketing Director. Support team members and departments as needed.

  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in using desktop publishing software including Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Distiller (Macromedia Freehand and Fireworks and QuarkXPress preferred also). Should have print-production skills and working knowledge of layout and design techniques and Microsoft Windows and Office Suite and web authoring skills.
  • Job requires a High School diploma with a minimum of five years design and marketing experience with similar responsibilities is required. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
